I have known and enjoyed Judy's company for many years, and have shared a bunch of good times in the field birding with her and Karl. She was a special soul who enjoyed sharing her knowledge about birds and helping others to bird around her favorite haunts in Cape May. Judy always had a kind word for me and a smile whenever we crossed paths. She will be missed by all of us in Cape May.

I will fondly remember the moments spent with Judy and her family at Stone Harbor and the many holidays that we celebrated together as a child. Rest in Peace.

One of my most fond memories of Judy was in the late 1980’s when we volunteered together at the Cape May Birding Observatory’s World Series of Birding. We were a team counting and double counting the team’s tallies as they came to the finish line, close to midnight. We laughed and giggled about this and that, and we worked as a team for several years. She shared much of herself with many. We discussed her favorite birds, and birding that took over her life. She was a genuinely lovely person. She was a kind, thoughtful, and sensitive person, and she will always be thought of fondly. Rest in Peace Judy, the RA pain is finally gone.

I treasure a lifetime of fond memories with Judy & she will always remain in my heart. There never was a happier fisherwoman than when she was out on the boat with Karl.

We enjoyed the Monday mornings at the Meadows birding with Tom Parsons, Karl and Judy, and Steve Weis followed by breakfast at Doc Mike's. Judy will be missed by many birders, both locals and visitors.
