I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). How glad we are that God has promised to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). Indeed we all eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of that promise. The Bible also provides assurance of a real hope of resurrection for our dead loved ones in the coming near future (John 5:25). May these promises from God bring you comfort. To the Hackett Family:
Charles was very special. Whenever I ran into him he would stop and give me that great smile and ask how I was.
You did a tremendous job raising him. He cared so much about how others were. I can't even begin to imagine how you feel. I will pray for all of you and hope God will help guide you through this.
Charles if you can hear me watch over you family and help them as you have helped others. Rest in peace Charles you deserve it. (blakes grandparents)

Some additional thoughts...While attending the service today, I was amazed at how many lives you actually touched. For the years I've known you, the memories are many to draw from. For every time I yell "Fish on!", I'll know you're close by smiling on me. Gonna miss you Dude!

I will never forget when we went fishing and I lost my rod over board and you managed to reel it in with another fishing rod for me. Or the time when we were crabbing and you taught us how to catch minnows in your shoe. Or every single time we were together is another great memory that I will never forget about you. I will always love you and cherish all of our memories. Love, Uncle Bob

Lil Chuckie I have memories from your baby shower and bringing more onsies and diapers than an infant could use. I mostly remember all the fishing and outdoor fun we all had. You are the most intelligent outdoorsman I know. I admire and love you for the way you never brought purposeful harm to another living thing, and always helping everyone else. You are with me now everyday, I love you xoxo

I remember going fishing with you and all the kids and you were so determined to get Shawn a fish. When he finally caught one I don't know who was happier you or Shawn.
The last time we were on the boat together was when the family all got together. I will never forget you and I singing "Wagon Wheel" together. We probably sounded awful but we didn't care. I love you Chucky, you will be greatly missed!!

Chuck, Cindy, and Chris and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I am still wanting to wake up and this all be a dream. I unfortunately know what you are and will be going thru with the lose of a child and it's a road no parent should have to go thru. I am here for you if you want to talk. Charles I will miss you so much. I have known you for over 5 years and in that short time you have touched my heart. You were an amazing son, brother, and friend to many. The Sea Star is going to have a very big void. I love and miss you my friend. Watch over your family.

My deepest sympathy to Chuck, Cindy, and Chris.Where do you begin? His smile would brighten anybody's day. He had compassion for those around him. Very smart when it came to fishing and hunting. Always willing to go that extra mile to help those who needed it. The SEA STAR III won't be the same without him there. He was his brother's biggest supporter even when they fought. I will miss seeing him on our adventures on the water...tapping Kelly's pole and watching her swing and miss ;-). Charles, you were taken too early from us, but now you're an Angel watching over all of us. Until we meet again, R.I.P. my young friend. Missed, but never forgotten.
