Carl "Erik" Hedstrom, age 62, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on November 25, 2024, after a sudden illness. Born in Manhasset, NY and was a long-time resident of Great Neck, NY. He retired from Albertson Supermarket Company as a cashier and stock person. Erik was an avid follower of rock and roll (especially Grateful Dead); WWE wrestling; Triple Crown horse racing and his favorite sports teams: Phillies, Seventy Sixer, Flyers, Kentucky Wildcats, and Las Vegas Raiders. Erik was a collector, mainly sports cards and memorabilia. He loved animals, especially cats. Erik is predeceased by his parents Susan Joan and Carl Ernest Hedstrom. He is survived by brothers Christian Hedstrom of Cape May, NJ, and William Hedstrom (Ginny) of Philadelphia, PA, and sister Karen Hedstrom of Del Haven, NJ. He is also survived by a niece, Michelle Ulrich (Tony) and nephews Jon Michael McLaughlin (Kerry) and Aaron Hedstrom-Wiggins and many cousins. A celebration of Erik's life will be held at a later date and interment will be private.
