Obituary of James W. Donnelly Sr.

James W Donnelly Sr. Born - April 1, 1966. Died - December 14, 2024 We are heartbroken to announce the passing of James W. Donnelly Sr. Jim is survived by his wife Christina (Tina) Donnelly (Benish) of 20 years, his five children Ashley-Lynn, Kimberly-Anne, James Jr., Shannon, Michael and his granddaughter Isabella Donnelly. He is also survived by his dad Edward J Donnelly Sr, his sister Helen Donnelly Hull (Rick). His niece Gabrielle Crenshaw (Adam) as well as their children Tristan, Noah and Mason. Jim was a hardworking man, devoted father, son, brother and Uncle. He worked multiple jobs up until he became sick in December of 2014. Jim supported his wife and children with jobs, sports and school events. He was very proud of each and every one of them. He loved his Philly sports teams. Jim and Tina bought their first house in December of 2022 and in January of 2023 they found out he had stage 5 renal failure. Jim fought very hard despite the multiple hospitalizations, going blind and dialysis three times a week. Tina was his around the clock caregiver plus still being active in their children's lives. Sadly, on December 14th, 2024 Jim woke up having trouble breathing and asked to go to the hospital. Tina and the kids walked him to the car and just as Tina got in Jim had a massive heart attack and despite her efforts of CPR and the EMT's efforts Jim succumbed to his death.
