Obituary of Robert L. Zevola

Zevola, Robert L, age 91 of Villas, passed away March 28, 2023. Robert was born in the Bronx, NY to Quirino and Mary Zevola, and served his country with the Army during the Korean War. He raised his family in Hawthorne, NY and spent his career in merchandising in the fashion industry. He retired to Cape May area in 1998 and then worked as a substitute teacher for several years in Lower Twp. Schools, lovingly known as "Mr. Z". Robert was also an avid tennis player, and served on the board at Cape May Tennis Club. Robert was a loving husband for 64 years to Joyce T. Zevola and a devoted father to Roslyn Zevola (M.J.), Randy Zevola (Wilma), Joyce Mary Zevola, and Madeline Anderson (Steve). He is also survived by his grandchildren Brendan, Robby, Jessica, Tyler and Derrick, great-grandchild Sadie, and sisters Rachel Palermo, Gilda Andronica and Marie Lorenzut. Funeral services for Robert will be privately held.
