Edward Allen Kaye, 98, formerly of North Wildwood and longtime member of North Wildwood Methodist Church, entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 11 after living a long life and struggling with dementia over the last year and a half in which he was lovingly looked after by his daughter Karen and his caregiver and friend James Arvo. Edward was part of the greatest generation proudly serving in the United States Navy from 1942-1945 during World War II. He retired from PECO where he worked as a line foreman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary and his brother Anthony Kwiatkowski. Edward will be forever missed by his daughter Karen, son Richard (Christina), six grandchildren, 17 great -grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and his best furry friend Molly. He loved being a regular at Steve's Café and Glick's Corner Café, going to church, watching the Phillies and being a PopPop. Memories that our dad and PopPop has left with us: -his singing -the smell of his shirts hanging on the line after a long days work -the B.O song -the New York and Chicago songs -his rhymes How Eddie Kaye always had a better way -his love of carpentry -how much he loved helping others -his love of the Lord Visitation will be held Saturday morning March 11 at 10:00 with a service to follow at 10:30 at North Wildwood Methodist Church.
