Cotter, John P., age 65 of Erma, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home. John worked at the button factory in Villas until it closed in 2001, then as a chef at Menz's Restaurant in Rio Grande for 16 years. He is predeceased by his wife Deborah Ann, parents, Elise (nee Lepline) Cotter and Thomas Bastian, and stepfather Richard Cotter. John is survived by his children Richard (Holly) Cotter, and stepchildren Sharon Albert and Brian Gallagher, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister.
