Raquel M. Abascal, age 91 of Kinnelon, NJ passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Phillipsburg Center. Beloved wife of the late Alfredo R. Abascal (2019). Devoted mother of Fred Abascal and Marta Abascal-Jackson. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Lauren Jackson, Ian Jackson, Steven Abascal, David Abascal, Michele Abascal and Kristin Abascal. Predeceased by her daughter Inez Abascal (1988). Raquel was a devoted wife and mother.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at the Vander Platt-Vermuellen Funeral Home. 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held 10 am on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Christ the King Cemetery, 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
