Eleanore Reuter, age 96, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in New York City, and formerly of Fairless Hills, PA; she has been a Cape May area resident for 6 years. She was an avid Phillies fan. Eleanore is survived by: her son Joseph (Dolores) Reuter of North Cape May; her daughter Eleanor (Jim) McNamara of Bluffton, SC; her daughter Patricia Woods of Philadelphia; and her son John (Mary Lynn) Reuter of Hilton Head, SC. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Eleanore was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Reuter in 1999; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Saint Frances Cabrini RC Church in Fairless Hills, PA. Interment will follow the service at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yardley, PA. Contributions in Eleanore's memory can be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ, 08691.
